Adventures With God – Part 1 (Autobiography)

Sister Agnes was a nun; and, indeed, also Kendal’s acknowledgedresidenthistorian. It seemed to me then that I was her pet project — and at that time perhaps her only catechetical pupil! She patiently instructed me in the doctrines of the Roman Catholic Church. Indeed, by the time I was 6½, she had also taught me the names of all of the Popes.

How grateful I am, that I later learned more about the Name which is above every other! His mother called Him Jesus. For He came to save His people from their sins. It would, however, be many years before I came to understand that. And so, He Himself soon transplanted me to a place where I would learn this — in a then-Calvinistic South Africa.
