Australia's Constitution71 is certainly grounded in Christianity. According to its very Preamble, it was brought into being on "9th July, 1900" — 1900 Anno Domino, or in the year of our Lord (Jesus Christ). That Preamble at its very outset expresses how the people of the constituting Colonies, in then contemplating the setting up of the Commonwealth of Australia, were "humbly relying on the blessing of Almighty God" — alias the one and only Triune God (alongside of Whom there is no other). Indeed, even the closing Schedule of the original Australian Constitution contains an Oath — swearing to be faithful "according to law. So help me God!"
