B.: But are you saying that covenantal infants dont need con-verting from unbelief to faith in Christ?
P.: Its true that even covenantal infants need ‘repeated conver-sions from their sins towards Christ and virtues, and that their God-given faith in Christ constantly needs challenging and deepening.46 But it is hardly true that they need the same quality of conversion as do unbelievers and their children. Timothy, for example, was born of a believing mother and raised in the true faith from his mothers womb and even from his grandmothers womb, as it were — and taught the Holy Scriptures from earliest childhood.47
